Once, in the deep wilderness,
there was a small town called "Hackalunool"
there, on a little road crossing through the dwellings,
was a horse with a golden harness,
pulling a buggy returning from school.
and amongst it's members, was our little Miss Jennings.
Our little Miss was only of seven,
living in her own little heaven,
Merry as every other child around her,
Around soch little pleasures, about which grown -ups failed to bother.
She had but one little wish,
that she conveyed to her old man wise,
that they go together once to fish,
and on the banks, watch the sun rise.
Her old man gleefully had said,
"Dear, i'll take you tommorow"
and merry as a christmas chant,
But a month later, lying in her bed,
dear Miss Jennings was in sorrow,
cause they had never went.
Reminded him she had often,
but he always said "tommorow"
wondered she, The day will come when?
or will they ever go?
An unknown time later,
all kids in the town did gather,
to discuss their woe,
that there came no tommorow.
Is it true that the adults forgot,
many promises, little occasions, important events
in their busy lives,
Or may be they did not,
but just kept them on postponenet,
because of their busy lives.
Miss Jennings and her friends, wished and wondered,
if that the adults sat for a while, and pondered,
will The tommorow ever come?
and they felt a little lonesome.
Waiting, for the tommorow that never did come,
the tommorow that never did come.
